DESCRIPTION:Step into Flushing’s past during the Flushing Cemetery Walk 2026\, a unique living history event presented as part of the America 250 commemoration.\nVisitors will travel through Flushing City Cemetery and encounter historical figures portrayed by student actors from the Flushing High School Drama Club. Through first-person storytelling\, guests will learn about the pioneers\, veterans\, founders\, civic leaders\, and community builders whose lives helped shape Flushing’s history.\nThis family-friendly event is presented by the Flushing Area Historical Society\, the City of Flushing\, and Flushing Parks & Recreation.\nAdmission\nFree\nSpecial Feature\nThe first 250 visitors will receive a complimentary copy of Flushing Uncovered No. 1: Flushing City Cemetery while supplies last.\nFeatured Experiences \nLive historical portrayals\nGuided cemetery tour\nLocal history presentations\nAmerica 250 programming\nHistorical guidebook distribution \nParking\nParking will be available in the large parking lot on the west side of the south section of Flushing City Cemetery near Joyce Drive and Coutant Street.
