Flushing’s Main Street Bridge
Since 1922, Flushing’s Main Street Bridge has served as an historical icon and a vital link between the east and west sides of the city.
Flushing area leaders commemorated that legacy with a 100th Anniversary celebration of the bridge on May 24. Speakers at the ceremony shared details about the bridge’s history and its significance to the city’s infrastructure.
