Our program for this evening will be presented by Scott Roy from Frankenmuth’s Michigan’s Military and Space Heroes Museum. The Museum holds 150 displays, each devoted to the story of a Michigan veteran or astronaut. The museum’s mission is to Honor, Respect and Remember the memories of Michigan men and women who answered the call to serve their country. Its collection spans from the Civil War to the War on Terrorism. Highlights of the museum include exhibits dedicated to 5 Michigan governors, 15 astronauts and 31 Medal of Honor recipients. The museum also houses 25 named Medals of Honor, making it the nation’s largest Medal of Honor collection on display.
