Welcome to the Historic Train Depot Museum
Where Our Town Met the World
Before highways and airports, this depot was the heart of the community.
Passengers waited here.
Letters and packages arrived here.
Families said goodbye — and welcome home — right here.
Today, this fully restored historic train depot is preserved as a museum so visitors can step inside a place where real history happened.
Inside, visitors will find period rooms and displays that highlight the history of Flushing and the railroad industry, along with antique tools, furniture, clothing and other artifacts used by early settlers. Exhibits are refreshed regularly to showcase items from our extensive collections.
Come Visit — and Bring a Friend
Many people pass by the depot every day without realizing what’s inside.
We invite you to step through the doors, discover the stories, and help ensure that this historic place remains part of our community for generations to come.
