The Flushing Area Historical Society will present a power point program on the “Evolution of the Bicycle” from 1817 to 1950 on May 16 at 7 p.m. FAHS board member Don Wilson’s presentation will include a brief background on bicycle laws, clubs, racing, etiquette and the proper attire for the well-dressed rider. The program is free and there will be a drawing for a door prize. The Flushing Depot (home to the FAHS) is located at 431 W. Main St.
